A Plexiglass® connector proves excellent wherever we want to achieve complete transparency of the product while maintaining its shape, durability, and resistance to atmospheric and chemical factors. A Plexiglass® connector is not ideally transparent because of the PVC-U used in its production, but thanks to modern technologies employed during the manufacturing process, very high light transmittance is ensured. A Plexiglass® connector is an excellent replacement for connecting elements made of other plastics such as PVC or polycarbonate. It can be successfully used in industries where chemicals are involved as well as in the automotive industry.

Plexiglass® is a material that is gaining more and more supporters. Plexiglass® can be easily processed mechanically with saws, milling cutters, and hand tools. It is not brittle and does not break even after many years. For a durable connection of elements with a Plexiglass® connector, we can use specially designed plastic adhesives. First, we need to remove dirt from the Plexiglass® surface using special cleaning agents or foam and give it the appropriate shine. Then, we must connect the two surfaces using the adhesive. We must remember that the adhesive should not remain open for too long under domestic conditions. Therefore, one should consider using an adhesive that cures with UV light. This gives us full freedom of movement because the curing of the adhesive is only done with the help of a special lamp. It is very important that our connector retains its full transparency at the joint.
