PVC-U elbows

A pipe elbow made of Plexiglass® is a pipe-connecting element that increasingly replaces traditional elements made of PVC or much more expensive polycarbonate. A pipe elbow made of Plexiglass® is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical influences as well as glass-like transparency. It is not as brittle and fragile. A Plexiglass® pipe elbow can be connected with other elements using special adhesives for plastics (we must remember that the Plexiglass® pipe elbow must be properly cleaned beforehand with a suitable Plexiglass® foam). Experts recommend using adhesives that are cured with UV light. Why? They preserve their transparency, thereby maintaining the most important properties of Plexiglass®, namely its colorlessness and the permeability of sunlight. It is important that such adhesives do not cause the appearance of air bubbles. They only cure when exposed to UV radiation. Until that moment, we can adjust the position of the connected elements as desired. This gives us the absolute guarantee that our Plexiglass® pipe elbow will be permanently and firmly connected in the area we want.

A Plexiglass® pipe elbow comes in several versions. They differ depending on the length of the element, its diameter, and the wall thickness used, which influences the strength of the Plexiglass® pipe elbow. Due to its specific shape, a Plexiglass® pipe elbow is made from PVC-U. The material is not perfectly transparent, but this does not affect its use. In addition to Plexiglass® pipe elbows, various Plexiglass® pipes, Plexiglass® rods, connectors, and Plexiglass® T-pieces are also available. All these elements allow the creation of any shapes, which can be used due to their properties in construction, in the chemical and advertising sectors, as well as in the automotive industry.
