PVC-U elbows

PVC-U elbows connect tubes at an angle. They increasingly replace traditional fittings made of standard PVC or of the much more expensive polycarbonate. They are highly resistant to mechanical and chemical damage and less brittle than glass. Elbows come in several versions that differ in length, diameter and wall thickness, which determines their strength. Because of its shape the elbow is made of PVC-U, which is not perfectly transparent; this does not limit its use.
