Acrylic glass products

Plexiglass® is a material that has been gaining popularity in various industries for years, and the Plexiglass® selection can be found at almost every step. What are the main Plexiglass® prices? This material is characterized by high transparency in the light spectrum, similar to glass, while Plexiglass® is resistant to the harmful effects of ultraviolet light, as well as acids or salts. As a result, Plexiglass® itself does not yellow and retains its transparency for a very long time. Plexiglass® is a material that is very easy to work with and at the same time not easy to break (it is characterized by high tensile and compressive strength). However, it is limited by high temperatures, as Plexiglass® must not be used in places where the temperature exceeds 80 degrees Celsius (while the material itself only begins to soften at temperatures above 115 degrees Celsius). Plexiglass® is also considered an environmentally friendly material and is easy to recycle.

Dimensional tolerances for tubes and rods — how to understand them (PC / Acrylic XT / Acrylic Cast)

Catalog (nominal) dimensions are only a reference point. In real production, plastic tubes and rods always have permissible deviations — and these tolerances determine whether a part will fit correctly in fittings, holders, sockets, bushings, or seals (e.g. O-rings).

How to Choose the Wall Thickness of a Polycarbonate Tube? A Practical Guide

Choosing the correct wall thickness of a polycarbonate (PC) tube is one of the most important steps in designing pressure systems, technical enclosures and industrial structures. A wall that is too thin risks tube failure, while one that is too thick unnecessarily increases costs. In this article we present a proven formula, a calculation example and production tolerances to help you select a polycarbonate tube safely and economically.

How to Choose the Wall Thickness of a Cast Acrylic Tube (CAST PMMA) for Pressure?

Selecting the correct wall thickness of a cast acrylic tube (PMMA, CAST) is a critical element in designing installations that operate under internal pressure. A wall that is too thin can lead to deformation or tube failure, while one that is too thick generates unnecessary costs and complicates integration with other structural elements. In this guide we show you how to select a cast acrylic tube in a way that is safe, economical and consistent with good engineering practice.
