Cast sheets made of Plexiglass® (PMMA) from Erson stand out with excellent transparency, uniform thickness, and a characteristic low internal stress structure typical of castings. Unlike extruded sheets, cast Plexiglass® sheets can be freely milled, drilled, engraved, thermally bent, and polished to a glassy shine—without the risk of cracking or distortion.

Available versions and finishes Sheets available in clear and colored versions (in a wide palette of colors), transparent, milky (opal), and satin. Surfaces: smooth, frosted, sandblasted, anti-reflective satin, as well as fluorescent and "stardust" variants. On request, edges are polished to a shine.
Applications Advertising and display, interior construction and finishing, machine guards and enclosures, inspection windows, display cases, furniture, architectural elements, acoustic screens, as well as applications in aquariums and in the food, scientific, and medical industries.
Cast Plexiglass® sheets are characterized by light transmittance of over 92%, a density of 1.19 g/cm³, and temperature resistance from -40°C to +70°C. Low internal stresses resulting from the casting process ensure excellent dimensional stability and resistance to cracking during mechanical and laser processing. The material is fully resistant to UV radiation — it does not yellow or lose transparency. Thickness tolerance is typical for cast sheets and depends on the thickness of the sheet.

Lower internal stresses than in extruded sheets — does not crack during milling or laser cutting.
The same transparency as glass, at half its weight
Cast PMMA accepts any form of processing without resistance. CNC milling, drilling, laser cutting, thermal bending, engraving — at every stage, the edges come out clean and smooth. Thanks to low internal stresses, the sheet does not crack, chip, or deform during processing. After milling, the edge can be polished to a mirror shine — without painting and without additional chemicals.
Cast PMMA sheets are fully resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, which is why they are also suitable for outdoor use. They do not yellow, become dull, or lose transparency even after years of exposure to the sun. The material is half the weight of glass, yet much safer — it does not shatter into sharp shards. Maintenance is limited to wiping with a soft cloth.
