Polycarbonate is also a plastic that is less brittle than Plexiglas®. Therefore, polycarbonate pipes are used wherever there is a high risk of mechanical damage. Transparent polycarbonate is completely colorless and allows over 90% of light to pass through. UV radiation does not cause yellowing, and atmospheric influences cannot harm it. Polycarbonate pipes are flame-retardant and have a high thermal insulation factor. This results in their frequent use in the construction and automotive industries as well as aerospace. There is also no restriction on forming polycarbonate into various plates with different dimensions and thicknesses. Custom orders can include a full color palette.
